In this role, you will be responsible for coordinating daily operations related to cargo receipt, movement, storage, and dispatch, working closely with operators, carriers, contractors, security personnel, and administrative teams. Key Responsibilities **Operations Supervision:** Coordinate and supervise operational activities during assigned shifts. **Cargo Management:** Oversee processes for cargo receipt, transfer, storage, consolidation, and dispatch. **Team Coordination:** Assign tasks to operational staff and monitor completion of scheduled activities. **Shift Management:** Organize resources, priorities, and staff distribution according to operational needs. **Operational Safety:** Verify compliance with safety procedures, use of personal protective equipment, and risk prevention protocols. **Logistics Coordination:** Maintain communication with carriers, operators, suppliers, and other departments involved in cargo movement. **Documentation Control:** Review operational records, cargo documentation, waybills, reports, and information associated with operations. **Management Indicators:** Monitor productivity, operation times, resource utilization, incidents, and goal achievement. **Incident Management:** Resolve operational issues and escalate problems that may affect operational continuity or safety. **Equipment and Resources:** Verify availability and proper use of machinery, equipment, and resources required for each operation. **Continuous Improvement:** Identify opportunities to reduce timeframes, improve processes, and increase operational efficiency. **Reporting:** Prepare shift reports, operational updates, incident reports, and activity completion summaries. What We Are Looking For **Experience:** 3–5 years of experience in port operations, logistics, maritime transportation, terminals, warehouses, or related activities. **Supervisory Experience:** Prior experience coordinating operational teams, shifts, or contractors is highly valued. **Education:** Technical or university degree in Logistics, International Trade, Transportation, Port Operations, Industrial Engineering, or a related field. **Operational Knowledge:** Experience in cargo handling, logistics coordination, shift planning, and operational procedures. **Safety:** Knowledge of risk prevention and safety standards applicable to port and industrial environments. **Tools:** Proficiency in Microsoft Office and logistics, port, or ERP management systems. **Leadership:** Ability to organize teams, assign responsibilities, and maintain operational control during high-demand situations. **Problem Solving:** Ability to make quick, practical decisions in response to operational contingencies. **Communication:** Ability to effectively coordinate with internal teams, carriers, suppliers, and contractors. **Availability:** Willingness to work rotating shifts as required by operational needs.
