Job Summary: We are seeking a Senior Full Stack Engineer to maintain the stability of a Ruby on Rails application and lead its evolution toward Vue 3, defining the migration roadmap and development standards. Key Highlights: 1. Lead the front-end migration from Rails to Vue 3 autonomously. 2. Build new applications and features in Vue 3, defining patterns. 3. Real-world experience executing application migrations in production. *Ruby on Rails \| TypeScript and Vue 3 \| Remote work* We seek a Senior Full Stack Engineer to maintain the stability of a Ruby on Rails application and lead its evolution toward Vue 3. This is not a maintenance-only role: you will define the migration roadmap and the standard that all future platform development will follow. Key Responsibilities Lead the migration of the existing front-end from Rails to Vue 3, ensuring continuity, sequencing, and minimal risk to active users. Build new applications and features in Vue 3, defining reusable patterns for the team. Work fluently in both Ruby/Rails and TypeScript/Vue 3. Design and operate relational data in MySQL or PostgreSQL. Manage CI/CD using GitHub Actions and routinely use AI-assisted development tools. Requirements Proficiency in TypeScript and/or Ruby, with demonstrable ability to operate effectively in both environments. Solid experience with modern web frameworks; Vue 3 is highly desirable. Real-world experience executing application or framework migrations in production. Proficiency with Git/GitHub, relational databases, and CI/CD processes. Advanced English and the ability to explain technical decisions to diverse audiences. Preferred Qualifications Experience with AWS, migrations from Rails to modern JavaScript frameworks, and component libraries or design systems. Work Mode and Environment Remote work with high autonomy, coordinated with an international team spanning Santiago and the United States.
