Job Summary: The Warehouse Keeper will administer, safeguard, and maintain tools, spare parts, and minor consumables, performing warehouse and dispatch activities under a mining contract. Finning, Caterpillar’s strategic partner and leader in equipment and service distribution, is seeking top talent to fill the role of **Warehouse Keeper**. **Job Description Summary**: The Warehouse Keeper must perform warehouse or storeroom activities for the mining contract, including spare parts management, receipt, preparation, and dispatch of goods to customers, warehouse administration, and safety. Primary responsibilities include administering, safeguarding, and maintaining mechanical workshop and electrical workshop tools; maintaining inventory records of tools issued to each field and workshop mechanic and electrician; and administering, safeguarding, and purchasing minor consumables for rebar work and mechanical repairs. **Job Responsibilities:** * Participate in tool, instrument, and spare parts inventory counts and audits. * Operate a forklift. * Supervise, issue, and manage tools and instruments. * Supervise, issue, and manage PPE (Personal Protective Equipment). * Conduct inventories of tools, instruments, and PPE. * Collect domestic waste. * Handle shipment of APD samples. * Clean spare parts shelving. * Conduct inventories of mechanics’ toolboxes. **Requirements:** * Technical secondary education from a commercial or industrial high school. * Basic mechanical knowledge (familiarity with all types of machinery and tools). * User-level computer skills, including Microsoft Office.
