Shift-based Operator Antofagasta Region Calama **Join FCAB — the company that powers the north!** At FCAB, a leading railway transportation and logistics company with over 130 years of experience connecting large-scale mining operations, we are seeking to hire a **Water Tender**, who will play a key role in ensuring the continuity and safety of our operations. **Job Objective:** To monitor and ensure a minimum established water level in the assigned area, meeting required parameters according to procedures and guidelines issued by the Water Resources Department. **Main Responsibilities:** * Inspect and verify the condition of water intake installations and systems, including tanks, pipelines, valves, filters, and chambers. * Perform preventive and corrective maintenance tasks, carrying out minor repairs and cleaning of infrastructure, equipment, and tools associated with the system. * Periodically monitor and control water levels and quality, recording data and reporting deviations to supervision. * Respond to field contingencies and emergencies related to the water intake network, ensuring timely and efficient response. * Operate assigned vehicles for transportation and fieldwork execution, as required by operational needs. *This job posting is governed by Law No. 21.015, which promotes the inclusion of persons with disabilities in the labor market.* *If you require any accommodation to participate in the recruitment and selection process, please let us know so we can facilitate your participation on equal terms (Law No. 20.422).* **Desired Profile** ------------------ * Completed secondary education. * Class B driver’s license (mandatory). * Welding technical qualification preferred. * Residence in Calama.
