Currently, we are seeking a **JUNIOR CONTROL AND PROTECTION ENGINEER** to join our engineering firm SDI (Providencia). The role’s mission is to design, specify, calculate, and generate specialized documentation for assigned projects within this discipline, meeting project timelines and standards, as well as complying with current regulations. Key responsibilities include: * Preparing calculation memoranda, technical specifications, and drawings for control and protection projects. * Conducting both intra- and interdisciplinary coordination within assigned activities. * Coordinating with the SSEE specialty regarding substation design and primary equipment specifications. * Proposing applicable, sustainable, and innovative solutions while respecting the scope agreed upon with the client. Technical Safety and Service Quality Standards issued by Chile’s National Energy Commission (CNE), specifically those pertaining to control and protection. Low-voltage electrical projects. Chilean Standard for Low-Voltage Consumer Installation (NCh4\). Technical specifications (SEC). Preparation of functional single-line diagrams according to regulations set by Chile’s National Electric Coordinator (CEN). Preparation of AC elementary diagrams. Preparation of DC elementary diagrams. Preparation of remote wiring diagrams. Preparation of calculation memoranda for voltage and current transformer load capacity. Preparation of memo.
