**Telesales Account Manager – Chemical Sector**
**Location:** Santiago de Chile
We are a leading company in the sale of **analytical instrumentation**, seeking **professionals from the chemical field or related disciplines** to join our team as **Telesales Account Manager (TAM)**.
### **What does a Telesales Account Manager do at our company?**
The TAM is responsible for managing a client portfolio, meeting commercial targets, and supporting the telesales department. Their focus lies in delivering personalized service, identifying business opportunities, and maintaining smooth communication with clients.
**Main Responsibilities:**
* Prospect new clients.
* Proactively send product and shipment information.
* Inform arrival dates and manage alternatives in case of delays.
* Analyze competition and market behavior (websites, magazines, etc.).
* Conduct in-person and telephone sales activities.
* Serve clients at the office.
* Prepare quotations and follow up on commercial matters.
* Support marketing campaigns and internal commercial activities.
* Coordinate product pickups at the office.
* Verify purchase order data prior to invoicing.
* Update customer records in the system.
* Perform after-sales service and follow-up.
* Participate in trade fairs, training sessions, and internal workshops.
### **What are we looking for in you?**
**Academic Background:**
* Graduate from a technical-scientific high school or technical/professional programs in science-related fields, such as:
* Chemical Technician or Laboratory Technician
* Medical Technologist
* Chemistry Education
* Chemical Engineering
* Industrial Chemistry
* Veterinary Technician or Veterinarian
* Food Technician
* Pharmacy, Biotechnology, Environmental Engineering, or related disciplines
**Required Knowledge:**
* Fundamentals of pH, ORP, and conductivity.
* Operation of basic laboratory equipment (pH meters, conductivity meters, thermometers).
* Familiarity with Sales Management Systems (SMS) and Order Management Systems (OMS) is desirable.
**Experience:**
* Minimum **6 months of sales experience**.
* Experience with **analytical or laboratory measurement equipment** is desirable.
