We consider inclusion and diversity fundamental to meeting present and future challenges.*** ARAUCO is seeking an Inputs Contracts Engineer to join the Wood Procurement team. **Primary Job Objective** Lead the critical inputs procurement strategy for industrial operations, ensuring operational continuity through contract management, market analysis, supply chain optimization, and strategic supplier negotiations—with focus on total cost of ownership, competitiveness, and risk management. **Key Responsibilities** * Manage critical inputs contracts, ensuring proper drafting, administration, and regulatory compliance. * Analyze demand, consumption, and input behavior to define efficient procurement strategies. * Monitor markets, suppliers, trends, and cost indicators to identify opportunities and risks. * Manage the supply chain, ensuring input availability by tracking origin, transportation, customs processes, and inventory levels. * Lead tendering and negotiation processes with strategic suppliers, aiming for competitive commercial terms and long-term relationships. * Evaluate proposals considering total cost of ownership (TCO), risks, and long-term benefits. * Coordinate continuously with plants, warehouses, technology, finance, and other user areas to ensure timely procurement. * Drive continuous improvement initiatives, supplier development, and optimization of input management. **Requirements** * **Education:** Industrial Civil Engineer, Chemical Civil Engineer, or related degree. * **Experience:** Minimum 3–5 years in procurement, strategic sourcing, or contract management within large-scale production industries. * **Knowledge:** Strategic procurement processes, inputs negotiation, supplier evaluation, supply chain management, total cost of ownership (TCO) analysis, compliance regulations, safety and transportation of inputs.
