Job Summary: United Pipeline Systems, Inc. seeks a Construction Supervisor to plan, coordinate, and supervise field work execution on a mining project, ensuring safe conditions and procedural compliance. Propose process and task improvements for continuous area improvement. **JOIN OUR TEAM!** At **United Pipeline Systems, Inc.**, we are a strategic partner specializing in delivering pipeline integrity solutions through high-performance thermoplastic systems for the oil, gas, industrial, municipal, and mining sectors. We are currently seeking a **Construction Supervisor** for a major mining project located in the Antofagasta region. **Terms:** * Shift: 7x7 * Site: Puerto Coloso * Contract Type: Fixed-term contract. **Objective:** To plan, coordinate, and supervise end-to-end the correct execution of daily field work, managing personnel, materials, equipment, and tools; ensuring safe conditions, compliance with operational procedures, and timely reporting to management on progress, status, and completion of work—while also identifying risks and proposing corrective actions. **Responsibilities:** * Thoroughly understand the client’s fluid transportation system installations, structures, areas, and equipment to ensure proper execution of maintenance and scheduled work. * Understand the maintenance strategy to plan and coordinate daily activities, verifying adherence to deadlines and targets. * Supervise and monitor that all work is performed in accordance with procedures, safety regulations, risk prevention standards, and established specifications. * Generate work notices and work orders according to operational requirements. * Prepare and deliver reports, technical documents, and presentations requested by the client regarding progress and results. * Execute and follow up on work orders assigned by management. * Manage requests for, receipt of, and distribution of materials and tools required for operations. * Supervise assigned personnel, coordinating tasks and ensuring compliance with quality and safety standards. * Ensure awareness of and compliance with documentation and requirements of the Integrated Management System (IMS). * Participate in planning and activity follow-up meetings. * Monitor services and resources required for executing planned work. * Propose process and task improvements to foster continuous area improvement. * Support the implementation, operation, and continuous improvement of the IMS. * Maintain up-to-date records of personnel documentation (training courses, examinations, certifications, and assignments). * Apply preventive safety tools and controls across all activities. * Report and correct deviations related to safety, health, quality, and environment. **Requirements:** * Mechanical Technician or related degree. * 5 years of experience in Mining Projects or Engineering Construction. * Knowledge of Quality Management, Occupational Safety and Health, and Environmental Management. * Familiarity with Work Management and SAP.
