Job Summary:
Supervises personnel work, ensuring safety procedures and standards are followed at the mining site in the north of the country.
Key Responsibilities:
1. Supervision of mining and metallurgical processes
2. Handling of hazardous materials and statistical control
3. Work at MEL sites
At Bureau Veritas, we are seeking a Cathode Supervisor with a university degree in metallurgical engineering / chemical engineering or a related field to work at a mining site in the north of the country.
Ensure that work performed by personnel under supervision complies with established work procedures and safety standards.
**Requirements:**
* University graduate (licensed professional) in Metallurgy, Chemistry, or Chemical Engineering.
* Technical knowledge of LIMS software is desirable.
* Experience in handling hazardous materials and Statistical Process Control.
* Minimum 3 years of experience supervising mining and metallurgical processes.
* Experience working at MEL sites.
* Residence in Antofagasta.
