Sandvik Mining is seeking: IT Project Manager \- Santiago GENERAL PURPOSE OF THE POSITION: Lead, execute, and govern regional IT projects across Latin America, ensuring full alignment with global IT strategies, regional business objectives, and local regulatory requirements. The Regional Project Manager is responsible for end-to-end project lifecycle management—from initiation through hypercare—maximizing resource efficiency and leading cross-functional, multicultural teams. KEY RESPONSIBILITIES: Strategic Execution: Lead planning, execution, and closure of complex regional IT projects across Latin America, ensuring alignment with global standards and business objectives. Financial and Schedule Management: Maintain full accountability for project budgets, schedules, resource allocation, and deliverables, proactively managing risks, variances, and corrective actions. Resource Orchestration: Coordinate and lead cross-functional and multicultural teams across multiple countries, fostering collaboration among IT Country Managers, global technical experts, and key business stakeholders. Risk and Incident Management: Develop and oversee risk management frameworks, contingency plans, and escalation processes to ensure successful regional implementations. YOUR PROFILE Minimum 3–5 years of experience in the relevant field. University degree in Information Technologies, Computer Engineering, Systems Analysis, or equivalent. PMP (Project Management Professional) certification or equivalent (highly desirable).
