GENERAL PURPOSE OF THE POSITION: To provide specialized technical support to Service departments, ensuring optimal performance of drilling equipment at mine sites. This includes developing and supervising maintenance plans, implementing technical improvements, and generating commercial opportunities—always aligned with Sandvik’s quality and safety standards. KEY RESPONSIBILITIES: Install, repair, inspect, and commission equipment, ensuring customer satisfaction / Identify and resolve complex technical issues using appropriate tools and methods / Optimize processes considering energy efficiency, environmental impact, and maintenance costs / Provide technical advice to the sales team and customers / Train and guide colleagues on service methodologies and tools. REQUIREMENTS: Technical or professional degree in Mechanical Engineering, Electromechanical Engineering, or related field / Minimum 8 years of experience in similar positions, ideally focused on UG Drill and/or LOHA equipment (mandatory). / Advanced English and intermediate MS Office proficiency (desirable) / Intermediate negotiation skills / Willingness to travel frequently and work rotating shifts according to business needs. / Class B driver’s license (minimum 3 years, mandatory) and Class D license (desirable) / Residence in Santiago (mandatory) What’s in it for you?
