Job Description **Role Purpose:** Manage and optimize the operation and maintenance of wastewater treatment plants (WWTPs) and potable water treatment plants (PWTPs), ensuring operational continuity, reliability, and system availability at the Los Bronces mine site, in compliance with current health and environmental regulations. Additionally, manage and administer sanitation services, ensuring quality, hygiene, and availability standards to safely support operations and contribute to business sustainability. **Responsibilities:** * Ensure operational continuity of wastewater treatment plants (WWTPs) and potable water treatment plants (PWTPs), guaranteeing system availability and reliability to support mine-site operations. * Supervise and monitor critical operational parameters (water quality, flow rates, biological and physico\-chemical processes, chemical dosing), ensuring compliance with internal standards and applicable regulations. * Manage health and environmental regulatory compliance by continuously monitoring effluent and potable water quality, ensuring accurate reporting to authorities and preventing deviations or non\-compliance. * Optimize treatment system performance by identifying improvement opportunities in processes, operational efficiency, consumables usage, and associated costs. * Administer operation and maintenance contracts, ensuring service level agreement compliance, cost control, KPI achievement, and alignment with safety and quality standards. * Ensure fulfillment of environmental and health commitments, guaranteeing proper operation of WWTPs and PWTPs in accordance with current regulations and corporate standards. Requirements * Mechanical or Industrial Engineer, or related degree. * Knowledge of wastewater treatment plants, potable water treatment plants, sanitation facilities, and administration of minor service or other specialty contracts. * Class B driver’s license. * Three or more years of experience in mining contract administration.
