We seek a Linux Systems Administrator / SysAdmin (m/f/d) who will assume real responsibility for our core environments. You won’t merely restart services; you’ll design system reliability, harden networks against threats, and shape our infrastructure strategy. Conduct periodic security audits, patch management, and threat mitigation to protect sensitive environments. * **Automation and Scripting:** Eliminate repetitive operational tasks by writing clean automation scripts using Bash, Python, or Ansible. * **Monitoring and Incident Response:** Maintain system monitoring tools to proactively detect performance bottlenecks, ensure maximum uptime, and resolve issues quickly and efficiently. * **Containers and Deployment Support:** Collaborate with developers to support containerized workloads (Docker/Podman), as well as reliable backup and disaster recovery workflows. **What We’re Looking For:** * **Experience:** Proven hands-on experience as a Linux Systems Administrator, Infrastructure Specialist, or Systems Engineer. * **Core Competencies:** Deep command-line Linux expertise, plus solid foundations in networking (TCP/IP, routing, firewalls, SSL/TLS, DNS). * **Tools:** Strong familiarity with shell scripting (Bash, Python) and practical experience in virtualized environments (KVM/Proxmox) or containers (Docker). * **Language Skills:** Spanish (fluent/native) for daily operational collaboration in Valparaíso. English (intermediate/B2\) for technical documentation, system logs, and open-source code research. * **Mindset:** Pragmatic and proactive. You understand how to balance extreme system security with smooth operational agility and clear technical documentation.
