Job Summary SkyNet Solutions is seeking an experienced and strategic **Procurement Manager** to lead our procurement activities and supplier relationships. The successful candidate will be responsible for developing procurement strategies, negotiating with suppliers, managing purchasing processes, controlling costs, and ensuring the timely availability of products, equipment, technology, and services required for our operations. This position is ideal for a procurement professional with strong negotiation skills, commercial awareness, analytical ability, and experience managing suppliers in technology, telecommunications, aerospace, agriculture, or other technical industries. Key Responsibilities * Develop and implement procurement strategies aligned with company objectives and operational requirements. * Manage the complete procurement lifecycle, from sourcing and supplier evaluation through negotiation, purchasing, delivery, and contract management. * Identify, evaluate, and select reliable local and international suppliers. * Negotiate pricing, payment terms, delivery schedules, warranties, service agreements, and other commercial conditions. * Manage supplier relationships and monitor supplier performance, quality, delivery, and compliance. * Prepare and review purchase orders, quotations, contracts, and procurement documentation. * Monitor procurement budgets and identify opportunities for cost reduction and operational efficiency. * Coordinate with finance, operations, engineering, technology, logistics, and management teams to understand purchasing requirements. * Ensure procurement activities comply with company policies, contractual requirements, and applicable Chilean regulations. * Support procurement of telecommunications equipment, satellite\-related technology, GPS monitoring systems, software, hardware, professional services, and operational supplies. * Conduct market research and maintain awareness of supplier capabilities, pricing, technology developments, and market conditions. * Establish and maintain procurement KPIs and prepare regular reports for senior management. * Manage procurement risks, including supplier disruptions, delays, quality issues, and supply availability. * Maintain accurate supplier records, contracts, purchase documentation, and procurement databases. * Identify opportunities to improve procurement processes, controls, and supplier performance. * Maintain confidentiality of commercial, financial, supplier, and company information. Required Qualifications * Bachelor’s degree in **Procurement, Supply Chain Management, Business Administration, Logistics, Engineering, Finance**, or a related field. * **5\+ years of professional experience** in procurement, strategic sourcing, purchasing, or supply chain management. * Proven experience managing supplier relationships and negotiating commercial agreements. * Strong knowledge of procurement processes, purchasing procedures, and contract management. * Experience managing procurement budgets, quotations, purchase orders, and supplier performance. * Strong analytical, financial, and problem\-solving skills. * Excellent negotiation and communication skills. * Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and procurement, ERP, or supply chain management systems. * Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities and deadlines. * High level of integrity, professionalism, and attention to detail. Preferred Qualifications * Experience in **aerospace, satellite communications, telecommunications, GPS technology, agriculture, technology, engineering, or industrial sectors**. * Experience with international sourcing and cross\-border procurement. * Knowledge of technology hardware, telecommunications equipment, software, or technical services procurement. * Familiarity with Chilean procurement, importation, logistics, and commercial practices. * Professional certification such as **CPSM, CIPS, CSCP**, or an equivalent qualification. * Experience with ERP platforms such as SAP, Oracle, Microsoft Dynamics, or similar systems. * Strong English communication skills for working with international suppliers. * Experience developing strategic sourcing programs and long\-term supplier partnerships.
