The Geomechanical Engineer must design and implement efficient geomechanical solutions for mining operations, timely identifying and addressing associated geomechanical and geotechnical risks, thereby contributing to safe and continuous operations. Responsibilities: Conduct field monitoring of geomechanical stability in underground workings, waste dumps, and open pits. Perform geomechanical characterization of mine excavations. Design rock reinforcement and support systems. Monitor design parameters and excavation dilution to maintain safety and stability standards for mine infrastructure (galleries and stopes). We offer an initial fixed-term employment contract of 3 months, subject to performance evaluation. Work schedule: 7x7\. Remuneration commensurate with the position. Desirable postgraduate diplomas in Geomechanical Engineering \- Applied Geotechnics. Minimum 3 years of experience in Geomechanics within underground operations. Proficient user-level knowledge of mining software such as Vulcan and Datamine. Familiarity with Rocscience-associated tools is desirable.
