(except zinc, lead, and manganese) ### **DESCRIPTION** Minera Meridian \- El Peñón, a mining company located in the Antofagasta region dedicated to underground gold and silver extraction, invites recently graduated Accountants and Auditors to apply for the Accounting Trainee Engineer position in Antofagasta. The Accounting Trainee Engineer must complement and assist the company's accounting and financial operations. Additionally, they must support material inventory management and other tasks associated with the Accounting area at both the mine site and the Antofagasta office. The program includes a fixed-term contract with a maximum duration of 12 months. Working hours are administrative, Monday through Friday, at the Antofagasta office. Availability to travel to the mine site when required is mandatory. Compensation is commensurate with the position. Up to 2 years of experience (non-exclusive). Familiarity with document reception via the SII platform is desirable. Knowledge of account analysis is desirable. Knowledge of invoice accounting is desirable. Proficiency in and/or knowledge of accounting systems is desirable. Proficiency in and/or knowledge of MS Office (intermediate Excel level preferred) is desirable.
