Workshop! We are currently seeking a Technical Office Manager responsible for leading the technical department, ensuring that projects are planned, developed, and executed efficiently in alignment with organizational objectives. Key responsibilities: Lead, motivate, and manage the technical team (drafters, engineers, and support staff). Plan, coordinate, and control the development of drawings, quantity take-offs, and technical documentation. Manage budgets, costs, and project progress tracking. Ensure regulatory compliance, quality standards, and industrial safety. Coordinate with production, operations, and commercial departments to align technical requirements. Optimize processes to improve efficiency and reduce costs. Supervise suppliers and services related to the technical department. Prepare management reports and performance indicators. Job requirements: Residence in the Tarapacá Region (mandatory). Degree in Civil Engineering, Mechanical Execution Engineering, or related field. Minimum 5 years of experience in similar roles, preferably in workshops or the metal-mechanical industry. Knowledge of steel structures, blueprint reading, and production processes. Proficiency in tools: AutoCAD, Advanced Excel, preferably Tekla Structures and ERP systems. Familiarity with Chilean regulations and quality standards (ISO 9001\). Leadership skills, effective communication, and problem-solving abilities. Health condition compatible with on-site and plant work.
