Job Overview Andes Learning Technologies SpA is seeking a highly organized, detail\-oriented, and experienced **Senior Accountant** to support and oversee key accounting and financial activities. The successful candidate will be responsible for maintaining accurate financial records, preparing financial reports, supporting month\-end and year\-end closing processes, and ensuring compliance with applicable accounting standards and company policies. The ideal candidate will have strong technical accounting knowledge, excellent analytical skills, and the ability to work independently while collaborating effectively with finance and other business teams. Key Responsibilities * Prepare, review, and maintain accurate accounting records and financial transactions. * Manage general ledger activities and account reconciliations. * Prepare monthly, quarterly, and annual financial reports. * Coordinate month\-end and year\-end closing activities. * Review accounts payable, accounts receivable, payroll\-related accounting, and other financial transactions. * Perform bank, balance sheet, and account reconciliations. * Analyze financial data and investigate discrepancies or unusual transactions. * Assist with budgeting, forecasting, and financial analysis. * Maintain supporting documentation for accounting transactions and reports. * Assist with internal and external audits. * Monitor compliance with accounting policies, procedures, and applicable regulations. * Support tax reporting and other statutory financial requirements as applicable. * Identify opportunities to improve accounting processes and internal controls. * Collaborate with finance, operations, procurement, and management teams. * Provide accounting information and analysis to management when required. Qualifications * Bachelor’s degree in **Accounting, Finance, Business Administration**, or a related field. * **3–5\+ years of professional accounting experience**, preferably in a senior accounting position. * Strong knowledge of general accounting principles and financial reporting. * Experience with general ledger management, account reconciliation, and financial statement preparation. * Solid understanding of month\-end and year\-end closing procedures. * Proficiency in **Microsoft Excel**, including formulas, pivot tables, and financial analysis functions. * Experience using accounting software or ERP systems. * Strong analytical and problem\-solving skills. * Excellent attention to detail and accuracy. * Strong organizational and time\-management abilities. * Good written and verbal communication skills. * Ability to manage confidential financial information responsibly. * Ability to work independently and effectively within a team. Preferred Skills * Experience with accounting in a technology, education, SaaS, or service\-based organization. * Familiarity with Chilean accounting and tax requirements. * Experience supporting financial audits and regulatory reporting. * Knowledge of internal controls and accounting process improvements. * Experience with financial reporting and analysis tools. * Professional accounting certification is an advantage. * Experience mentoring or supervising junior accounting staff is a plus.
