Together, we can transition toward a more sustainable, equitable, and balanced protein production system. **What You’ll Do** You will be responsible for ensuring business operational continuity through timely, efficient, and strategic procurement of critical raw materials. Your focus will be on anticipating supply risks, making tactical day-to-day decisions, and ensuring alignment among planning, production, and supply—directly impacting cost efficiency and service levels. **Who We’re Looking For** We seek a candidate with experience in demanding, highly variable production environments where supply directly impacts plant continuity. This role requires strong execution capability, decision-making under pressure, and experience managing critical raw materials, strategic suppliers, and import processes. Key Requirements: * Experience in production procurement (critical raw materials—not indirect goods) * Forecast, inventory, and stock coverage management * High-impact economic negotiations and strategic supplier management * Experience with Integrated Business Planning (IBP)/Sales & Operations Planning (S\&OP), or strong coordination with production * Ability to anticipate supply risks and prevent stockouts You will play a key role in ensuring operational continuity, optimizing costs, and leading decisions that directly impact the business. **You’ll Also Need:** * University degree in Commercial Engineering, Industrial Civil Engineering, Logistics, Supply Chain, Agronomy, or related field. * 3–5 years of experience as Head of Procurement in production or manufacturing companies (mandatory experience in critical raw materials—not only indirect goods or services). * Practical knowledge of Integrated Business Planning (IBP) or S\&OP. * Experience driving cost efficiencies, improving supply service levels, and optimizing inventories. * Advanced Excel, Power BI, and advanced ERP systems for procurement, inventory, and contracts (M3 preferred; SAP/Oracle/Dynamics are acceptable alternatives). * Preferred experience in food industries (animal or human) or complex production environments. * Desirable postgraduate qualification in Procurement & Supply, Supply Chain Management, IBP/S\&OP, Logistics, or Operations. * Intermediate-to-advanced English proficiency (for international negotiations). **What You’ll Receive** As part of Nutreco, you’ll become a member of the SHV family—a diverse group of companies with a global presence.
