Hatch is seeking to hire a **Senior Civil Engineer** to lead civil engineering development on highly complex mining and industrial projects. This role requires strong technical experience, leadership of multidisciplinary teams, and the ability to coordinate engineering solution development across all project phases. **Key Responsibilities** * Lead the Civil discipline technically within engineering projects. * Coordinate work teams, resources, and activities to ensure timely delivery and quality of deliverables. * Supervise the development and review of earthworks, road, and civil infrastructure designs associated with industrial facilities. * Coordinate interfaces with other disciplines and clients during project execution. * Review, approve, and issue technical documentation for the discipline, including calculation memoranda, design criteria, and technical specifications. * Support preparation of technical proposals, effort estimates, and engineering activity planning. Identify technical risks and promote mitigation measures during project execution. * Ensure application of engineering standards, procedures, and best practices. **Qualifications and Experience** * Professional degree in Civil Engineering, Civil Engineering for Civil Works, or a related field. * 10–15 years of experience in mining, industrial, infrastructure, or energy projects. * Experience leading engineering teams and coordinating disciplines on multidisciplinary projects. * Experience in Prefeasibility, Feasibility, FEED, and Detailed Engineering phases. * Demonstrated experience in developing and reviewing civil designs for large-scale projects. * Ability to manage priorities, resources, and technical commitments within the project. **Technical Knowledge** * Design of large-scale earthworks, including platforms, dumps, stockpiles, and storage areas. * Geometric design of access roads, mine haul roads, and service roads. * Design and coordination of civil works for industrial infrastructure. * Surveying applied to civil design. * Geotechnical engineering applied to platforms, roads, slopes, and retaining structures. * Hydrology and hydrogeology applied to drainage and water management. * Preparation and review of calculation memoranda, design criteria, technical specifications, and material take-offs.
