Generate models and interpretations for drilling targets Job Description We are seeking a **Senior Exploration Geophysicist** to lead geophysical studies aimed at identifying and characterizing mineral resources, integrating geophysical, geological, and geochemical information to support exploration decision-making. Key Responsibilities * Design and lead **field geophysical exploration campaigns**. * Define acquisition methodologies and parameters according to project objectives. * Supervise surveys of **IP, resistivity, magnetometry, gravimetry, electromagnetics, and/or seismic methods**. * Process, interpret, and validate geophysical data. * Integrate results with **geological, geochemical, and drill hole data**. * Generate models and interpretations to identify drilling targets. * Prepare technical reports, maps, cross-sections, and presentation materials. * Supervise geophysical acquisition contractors and field teams. * Evaluate data quality and implement **QA/QC procedures**. * Support exploration program planning and target prioritization. * Present technical results to Geology, Exploration, and Management teams. Requirements * Degree in **Geophysics, Geology, Geophysical Engineering**, or a related field. * Proven experience in interpreting terrestrial geophysical methods. * Proficiency in software such as **Oasis Montaj, Geosoft, Seequent, Leapfrog**, or other specialized tools. * Knowledge of **data processing, geophysical inversion, 2D/3D modeling, and GIS**. * Familiarity with **Python, MATLAB**, or other data analysis tools is desirable. * Experience integrating geophysics with **geology, geochemistry, and drilling**. * Knowledge of **QA/QC and safety procedures for exploration work in Chile**. * Willingness to work **in the field, at camps, and on shift-based schedules**. * Leadership ability, technical analysis skills, communication skills, and decision-making capability.
