The selected candidate will be responsible for operating Grader equipment, contributing to the efficiency and safety of mineral extraction operations, playing a vital role in preparing the working environment, access roads, and material transportation within the underground mine. Main responsibilities will include: Operating Grader equipment to carry out terrain grading and maintenance of transport roads in underground mining work areas, such as loading faces, ramps, dump sites, among others. Main tasks, in addition to terrain leveling, include moving rocks and materials, cleaning galleries, and creating roads. Prior to starting operations, verify required operational and safety conditions of the equipment by performing equipment checklists and pre-task risk assessments. Prepare reports on activities performed during the shift, including data on daily drilling, equipment availability and utilization, deviations identified, among others. Deliver report to the shift supervisor at the end of the shift. Comply with all legal and regulatory competencies and training required for the position. Carry out all activities involved in the performance of the role in accordance with RMMS Management System guidelines; Safety and Health, Business, Governance, Environment, and Social Aspects. For the execution of job duties, act in accordance with occupational health and safety policies, standards, and procedures considering associated risks and protective measures. What requirements must you meet? Complete secondary education. Minimum 3 years of experience operating support equipment (road maintenance) in underground mining. Training in equipment operation: grader, front loader, and backhoe loader. Availability to reside in the province of Copiapó. Valid driver's license Class B and D. Health compatible for working in underground mining. Availability for 4x4 shift work.
