Seat guests at available, clean tables; pull out chairs and place updated, clean menus in front of each guest. Guide guests through the dining room and assist them as needed. Move and arrange tables and chairs, adjust overall layout, and manage seating for groups with specific needs. Verify that seating is appropriate and that each guest has a napkin, clean flatware, and all other standard items. Ensure sufficient menus are available, and that they are current, clean, and unwrinkled. Maintain cleanliness of work areas throughout the day and adhere to continuous cleaning procedures. Monitor available seating in dining rooms, service delivery, guest safety, and well-being. Follow and implement all brand safety policies and procedures; report accidents, injuries, and any hazardous workplace conditions; complete required safety training and obtain necessary certifications. Wear a clean, complete uniform at all times; maintain a neat, professional appearance while on duty; respect confidentiality when sharing brand- and/or hotel-related information; and safeguard all company property. Greet and welcome all guests in accordance with brand standards. Use clear, courteous language in all communications; answer the telephone using appropriate language. Build positive, constructive professional relationships with peers; collaborate and support one another to achieve common goals; listen and respond appropriately to colleagues’ concerns. Uphold quality requirements and standards. Be accustomed to standing, sitting, and moving for extended periods. Independently move, lift, carry, pull, and place items weighing up to 4.5 kilograms. Perform all other duties assigned by supervisors that are consistent with this position. RECOMMENDED QUALIFICATIONS Education:High school diploma or equivalent.
