Whether responding to guest requests, restocking cleaning carts, cleaning guest rooms and public areas, or handling other responsibilities, Guest Environment Experts ensure that hotel spaces enable guests to have an outstanding experience. Regardless of their specific role, there are several fundamentals essential to success (ensuring a safe workplace, following company guidelines and procedures, respecting confidentiality, maintaining quality standards, and ensuring professional appearance, attire, and communication). Guest Environment Experts are constantly on the move (standing, sitting, walking for extended periods) and engage in various physical tasks (moving, lifting, carrying, pushing, and placing objects weighing less than 50 pounds without assistance).
