About the Role **Argonn Auberge Hospitality and Guest Services** is looking for a **Piping Design Engineer** to join our team in **Pudahuel, Metropolitan Region of Santiago**. In this role, you will be responsible for developing and reviewing piping system designs for infrastructure, service, technical facility, and operational expansion projects, ensuring solutions comply with technical, safety, and constructability requirements. You will work closely with **engineering, maintenance, projects, construction, operations, and technical suppliers** to translate operational requirements into clear, efficient, and executable designs. Key Responsibilities * Develop piping system designs for various projects. * Prepare layouts, general drawings, and isometrics. * Prepare and review piping drawings. * Coordinate interferences with structures, equipment, and other disciplines. * Support 3D model development. * Verify dimensions, routing, and installation conditions. * Prepare material take-offs (MTO) and technical specifications. * Review supplier documentation. * Participate in design reviews. * Support constructability assessments. * Coordinate requirements with mechanical, civil, electrical, and instrumentation engineering. * Support field surveys as required. * Participate in reviewing modifications and scope changes. * Maintain up-to-date technical documentation. * Support preparation of engineering and construction packages. * Verify compliance with applicable standards, codes, and procedures. * Identify technical risks and propose solutions. * Support engineering quality control processes. * Coordinate with contractors and suppliers as necessary. * Perform other duties related to piping design and project engineering. Requirements * **4–7 years of experience** in piping design, piping engineering, mechanical engineering, or industrial projects. * Prior experience as a **Piping Design Engineer, Piping Engineer, Mechanical Project Engineer**, or similar role. * Experience preparing drawings and isometrics. * Proficiency with design tools such as **AutoCAD, AutoCAD Plant 3D, AVEVA E3D, Smart 3D, Revit MEP**, or similar. * Knowledge of piping system design and layout. * Ability to interpret P\&IDs, drawings, and engineering documentation. * Knowledge of piping materials, fittings, valves, and components. * Experience in multidisciplinary coordination. * Proficiency in Microsoft Office. * Ability to review technical documentation and identify inconsistencies. * High attention to detail. * Strong organizational and communication skills. * Ability to manage multiple projects and priorities. Desirable Qualifications * Professional degree in **Mechanical Engineering, Civil-Mechanical Engineering, Mechanical Execution Engineering**, or related field. * Experience with **AutoCAD Plant 3D, AVEVA E3D, or Smart 3D**. * Knowledge of ASME piping-related standards. * Field survey experience. * Knowledge of HVAC, water, steam, fuel, or process system design. * Experience in interference review. * Knowledge of BIM modeling. * Experience preparing MTOs or material lists. * Knowledge of pipe support systems. * Technical English is an asset.
