




Job Summary: We are seeking an Intermediate Hydrogeologist Engineer to lead technical teams, conduct water sampling campaigns, install piezometers, and coordinate subcontractors on a field project. Our team in Chile is growing, and we are currently looking for an Intermediate Hydrogeologist Engineer to join our Water Resources business line on a field project with a 7x7 shift. **About the Role** You will be responsible for: * Leading a team of hydrogeological technicians for supervision of dewatering well construction. * Conducting water sampling campaigns. * Planning, configuring, and installing vibrating-wire piezometers. * Describing cutting or diamond core samples collected during drilling. * Coordinating activities across various subcontractors. * Actively participating in comprehensive safety management, including conducting inspections, identifying deviations, and proposing improvements. **About You:** * Geology degree **(mandatory)** * Postgraduate qualification in hydrogeology (desirable) * 3–7 years of experience in similar roles within consulting firms or mining companies **(mandatory)** * Proficiency with tools: Leapfrog, AquiferTest, GIS, Advanced Office, etc. * Intermediate English level (desirable) * Availability to work on-site on a daytime 7x7 shift **(mandatory)** * Driver’s license held for at least 4 years **(mandatory)** * Experience driving on mine haul roads (desirable) * Medical fitness for working at high geographical altitude **(>4,000 m above sea level, mandatory)**. **Why Ausenco?** We support individual growth, and our goal is to enable you to work in a way that leverages your strengths and meets your needs.
