We are looking for top talent and invite you to join our Operations team as an **Automation Engineer** in Chile. Your mission will be to analyze, develop, lead, and implement automation projects for production/operational processes in Physical Security. You will also support the operation, maintenance, and continuous improvement of industrial automation systems, machinery, and plant equipment.
**What Are We Looking For?**
**Graduate in Automation Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Electronics Engineering, Industrial Control Engineering, or related field.**
* **Desirable: Courses or certifications in PLCs, industrial networks, or automatic control.**
**Requirements:**
2 years of experience in the field.
* Knowledge of layout planning.
* Knowledge of metrology.
* Electrical and electronic knowledge.
* PLC programming.
* Industrial sensors, pneumatics, and electromechanics.
* Ability to read electrical schematics and control diagrams.
* Use of diagnostic tools.
Intermediate English.
Proficiency in Office / Advanced Excel / Demand Driven (desirable)
**Key Responsibilities:**
* Analyze current production processes and propose automation solutions for tasks posing risks to personnel.
* Analyze and propose automation solutions for repetitive production processes to improve productivity.
* Analyze and propose standardization solutions for production processes to reduce setup times.
* Participate in process optimization, layout redesign, equipment upgrades, and automation of new operations.
* Propose improvements to enhance efficiency, safety, and reliability of equipment and machinery.
* Lead integration of sensors, instrumentation, and devices to strengthen industrial safety, productive efficiency, and product quality outcomes.
* Ensure all work complies with industrial safety standards, internal procedures, and applicable electrical regulations.
* Maintain up-to-date technical documentation.
* Support other processes and projects within the department.
* Enforce Internal Regulations, Corporate Policies, and other organizational directives.
