We consider inclusion and diversity as fundamental aspects for meeting present and future challenges.*** **ARAUCO is seeking an Accounts Receivable Analyst to join its Treasury Management Department, based in Santiago.** **Primary Job Objective** To manage the accounts receivable portfolio of clients from the United States and Canada, ensuring effective collections management, credit analysis, and financial risk control. This role contributes to implementing ARAUCO’s credit and collections policies, optimizing payment recovery, safeguarding the company’s financial security, and promoting a positive customer experience. **Key Responsibilities** * Manage and monitor a North American client portfolio, performing collections activities, payment follow-up, and account reconciliation. * Evaluate credit applications, analyze financial statements, and recommend credit lines for new and existing clients. * Monitor active credit lines, identifying upcoming expirations, credit limit overruns, and associated financial risks. * Support the release of orders and shipments blocked due to credit issues, ensuring compliance with established policies and procedures. * Manage credit-related information using financial tools and specialized reports, including Dun \& Bradstreet analysis. * Participate in and lead continuous improvement initiatives aimed at optimizing processes, tools, and methodologies within the Credit and Collections area. * Maintain ongoing coordination with internal teams and clients, ensuring timely and effective communication regarding relevant portfolio matters. **Requirements** **Education:** Certified Public Accountant, Commercial Engineering, Financial Engineering, Business Administration with Finance specialization, or related field. **Experience:** Minimum 1 year of experience in roles related to credit, collections, accounts receivable, or financial analysis. **Knowledge:** * Financial statement analysis and interpretation. * Financial and accounting concepts. * Intermediate Excel (pivot tables, charts, and data analysis). * Microsoft Office. * SAP S/4 (desirable). * SQL (desirable). * Collections management and portfolio administration. * Advanced English or bilingual (Spanish and English) — mandatory. **Other Requirements:** * Organizational skills and attention to detail. * Oral and written communication skills. * Ability to work autonomously and manage multiple priorities. * Customer orientation and financial risk mitigation mindset. * Availability to work in a hybrid mode in Santiago, with a minimum of three in-person days per week and full in-person attendance during the training period. **What Competencies Are We Seeking?** We seek analytical, organized, and results-oriented professionals capable of making well-founded decisions, managing client relationships, and collaborating effectively in dynamic, international environments.
