Position Overview We are seeking an organized, analytical, and detail\-oriented **Procurement Specialist** to support our procurement and purchasing activities across infrastructure and construction projects. The successful candidate will assist with sourcing materials and services, evaluating suppliers, managing purchase orders, negotiating commercial terms, monitoring deliveries, and maintaining accurate procurement records. The ideal candidate will have strong supplier\-management skills and the ability to work effectively in a project\-driven environment. Key Responsibilities * Support the end\-to\-end procurement process for construction and infrastructure projects. * Identify, research, and evaluate potential suppliers and subcontractors. * Request and compare quotations, bids, and proposals. * Prepare purchase orders and procurement documentation. * Negotiate pricing, payment terms, delivery schedules, and commercial conditions. * Maintain and update supplier databases and procurement records. * Monitor purchase orders, deliveries, lead times, and supplier performance. * Coordinate with project managers, engineers, finance, logistics, and site teams. * Ensure materials, equipment, and services are delivered according to project requirements. * Track procurement costs and identify opportunities for cost savings. * Assist with contract administration and supplier agreements. * Verify supplier invoices and supporting documentation. * Resolve purchasing and delivery issues with suppliers. * Maintain accurate records of quotations, purchase orders, contracts, invoices, and supplier evaluations. * Prepare procurement reports and status updates for management. * Support supplier performance reviews and procurement audits. * Ensure procurement activities comply with company policies and applicable regulations. * Assist in developing and improving procurement procedures and processes. Required Qualifications * Bachelor's degree or technical qualification in **Supply Chain Management, Procurement, Business Administration, Engineering, Logistics, or a related field**. * **2–4 years of experience** in procurement, purchasing, sourcing, supply chain, or a similar role. * Experience managing supplier relationships and procurement documentation. * Strong skills in quotation analysis, purchasing, and commercial negotiation. * Knowledge of procurement processes and supply\-chain principles. * Proficiency in **Microsoft Excel or Google Sheets**. * Experience using ERP, purchasing, or procurement\-management systems. * Strong analytical and problem\-solving abilities. * Excellent organizational and time\-management skills. * Strong written and verbal communication skills. * High attention to detail and accuracy. * Ability to manage multiple projects, suppliers, and deadlines simultaneously. Preferred Qualifications * Previous experience in **construction, engineering, infrastructure, renewable energy, or industrial projects**. * Experience purchasing construction materials, equipment, tools, or technical services. * Familiarity with Chilean suppliers, purchasing practices, and commercial regulations. * Experience with ERP systems such as SAP, Oracle, Microsoft Dynamics, or similar platforms. * Knowledge of contract administration and supplier\-performance management. * Experience with tendering, competitive bidding, and RFP/RFQ processes. * Strong negotiation and cost\-analysis skills. * Knowledge of logistics, inventory management, and project procurement. * English communication skills are an advantage for working with international suppliers and partners. * Professional procurement or supply\-chain certification is a plus.
