Position Objective** -------------------------- The Physics Teacher will be responsible for teaching the subject from 7th grade basic education through 4th year of secondary education, fostering scientific thinking, understanding of natural phenomena, and development of analytical skills. The teacher must ensure compliance with the national curriculum established by the Chilean Ministry of Education (Mineduc), strengthen meaningful learning, and contribute to students’ holistic development within a respectful, safe, and formative educational environment. **2\. Functions and Responsibilities** ------------------------------------- ### **A. Teaching and Planning** * Design and implement lesson plans based on the National Curriculum Bases and the current Mineduc curriculum. * Deliver classes that integrate theory, practice, experimentation, and problem-solving. * Apply the content of the Physics Deepening Plan for 3rd and 4th year of secondary education. * Develop formative and summative assessments aligned with learning objectives. ### **B. Classroom Management and Student Development** * Maintain a safe, respectful, and learning-oriented classroom climate. * Promote active participation, critical thinking, and scientific curiosity. * Identify academic support needs and implement reinforcement strategies. * Foster student autonomy, responsibility, and study habits. ### **C. Use of Educational Resources and Tools** * Integrate digital platforms, educational software, and technological tools that enable modeling of physical phenomena. * Use digital resources in face-to-face, hybrid, or remote classes. * Record academic information, assessments, and follow-up data in the institution’s designated systems. ### **D. Institutional Collaboration and Teamwork** * Participate in departmental meetings, pedagogical activities, and institutional events. * Collaborate with teachers of other subjects to strengthen interdisciplinary work. * Prepare reports, pedagogical documents, and records requested by academic leadership. **3\.
