Job Summary: We are seeking a Loss Control Supervisor to oversee yields, identify and report operational losses, and contribute to continuous process improvement at the plant. Key Highlights: 1. Contribution to continuous process improvement At our Processing Plant, we are looking for a Loss Control Supervisor responsible for supervising and controlling the yields of various processed products, in order to identify, analyze, and report operational losses to management. Additionally, this role will conduct sampling of new products and productivity evaluations to support continuous process improvement. **Main Responsibilities:** * Conduct yield control on washing lines. * Monitor yields on filleting lines and other production processes. * Verify and control cut spines on the filleting line. * Supervise compliance with technical specifications for whole products, fillets, portions, and other formats. * Monitor portion weight ranges to ensure adherence to established standards. * Prepare and deliver loss control reports and other reports requested by management. * Conduct sampling of new products, loss analysis, and productivity measurements. **Requirements:** * Technical or Professional degree in Food Science, Industrial Engineering, Business Administration, or related field. * Basic knowledge of Salmon Processing Plant operations and Loss Control. * Mandatory knowledge: Food Industry, Information Management Tools, Quality Assurance. * Intermediate level of Microsoft Office proficiency. * Minimum 1 year of experience in similar roles. **Conditions:** * Work schedule: 6 days on / 1 day off, rotating shifts. * Work location: Puerto Montt * Fixed-term contract, with potential conversion to indefinite-term. **Benefits:** * Enrollment in Los Andes Compensation Fund. * Supplementary health insurance (with indefinite-term contract). * Agreements with clinics, optical stores, banks, and more (with indefinite-term contract).
