**GENERAL PURPOSE OF THE POSITION:**
Responsible for executing on-site maintenance, diagnostics, repair, inspection, commissioning, and training services for Sandvik underground drilling equipment. The role aims to ensure customer equipment availability and reliability by delivering specialized technical support under the highest safety and quality standards.
**MAIN RESPONSIBILITIES:**
* Perform preventive and corrective maintenance on underground drilling equipment.
* Diagnose mechanical, hydraulic, electrical, and control system failures.
* Conduct inspections, specialized repairs, and equipment commissioning.
* Generate detailed technical reports on interventions, findings, and recommendations.
* Provide technical assistance and specialized support to customers at mine sites.
* Interpret hydraulic and electrical schematics and technical documentation.
* Identify improvement opportunities and potential spare parts or service requirements.
* Train and transfer knowledge to technicians, operators, and customers.
* Ensure compliance with Safety, Occupational Health, and Environmental standards.
**YOUR PROFILE:**
* Higher Technical Diploma or Bachelor’s Degree in Mechanical Engineering, Electromechanical Engineering, Industrial Maintenance, or related field.
* Minimum 4 years’ experience in maintenance of underground drilling equipment.
* Knowledge of hydraulic, electrical, and electro-hydraulic systems.
* Experience in analyzing and diagnosing complex failures.
* Ability to interpret technical drawings and manuals.
* Proficiency with digital tools and service platforms.
* Basic technical English is desirable.
* Customer orientation, teamwork, and safety focus.
**OTHER REQUIREMENTS:**
* Availability to work rotating shifts as required by the company.
* High availability for domestic and international travel per operational requirements.
* Class B driver’s license, minimum 3 years’ validity.
* Class D driver’s license (desirable).
* Residence in Copiapó (mandatory).
