Job Summary: SIGMA S.A. is seeking a Communications Technician for mining and industrial projects, responsible for the installation and maintenance of communication networks and systems. Key Highlights: 1. Experience in commissioning projects in mining or industrial sectors 2. Knowledge of industrial communication networks, CCTV, and optical fiber 3. Integration with control systems (PLC, SCADA, DCS) At SIGMA S.A., an integrated services company for mining and engineering that provides solutions focused on construction, commissioning, and maintenance, we are currently seeking personnel to join one of our projects located in the Third Region for the position of Communications Technician. **Job Requirements:** * Minimum education: Higher Technical Degree in Telecommunications, Networks, Electronics, Automation, or related fields. * At least 5 years of general experience in commissioning projects in the mining or industrial (e.g., pulp and paper) sectors. * At least 3 years of experience specifically related to this position. * Preferred residence near Los Andes. **Main Competencies:** * Installation and maintenance of industrial communication networks, monitoring systems, CCTV, radiofrequency, and optical fiber. Industrial communication protocols (Profibus, Fieldbus), configuration of network equipment (switches, routers, radios). Structured cabling, optical fiber, connectors, and conduits. Network fault diagnostics and connectivity testing. Integration with control systems (PLC, SCADA, DCS). Location: Los Andes, Andina.
