Opportunities for internal development and growth in production Extrusion Operator – Industrial Plant **Santiago \- Conchalí** On-site **2 Positions** Fixed-term contract 42-hour weekly rotating shift schedule **TOPCOLOR S.A.**, an industrial company dedicated to manufacturing **Masterbatch (polymers and plastic pigments)**, located in the Central-North sector of Santiago (Conchalí), is seeking an **Extrusion Operator** to join our production team. We seek a responsible, technically skilled, and quality-focused candidate with experience operating **extrusion lines or similar industrial processes**. Responsibilities * Operate and control **production extrusion lines**, ensuring adherence to process technical parameters. * Adjust **temperatures, RPM, material flow, and Kg/hour** according to product specifications. * Supervise proper **weighing and preparation of raw materials and pigments**. * Perform **in-process quality self-inspection**. * Coordinate and supervise tasks of the assigned **Production Assistant** on the line. * Complete **production records, process forms, and shift logs**. * Identify process deviations and make adjustments to optimize **product yield, speed, and quality**. * Perform **basic preventive equipment maintenance** and report failures to the maintenance department. * Supervise **homogenization, cooling, cutting, and packaging** processes of the finished product. * Maintain **order, cleanliness, and safety on the production line**. * Strictly comply with the company’s **industrial safety, quality, and environmental standards**. Rotating Shifts (Change weekly) Rotating shift schedule: * Monday (shifts indicated as night/day/morning) * Morning: 7:30 – 14:10 * Afternoon: 14:05 – 22:05 * Night: 22:00 – 6:55 * Tuesday: * Morning: 6:50 – 14:10 * Afternoon: 14:05 – 22:05 * Night: 22:00 – 6:55 * Wednesday: * Morning: 6:50 – 14:10 * Afternoon: 14:05 – 22:05 * Night: 22:00 – 6:55 * Thursday: * Morning: 6:50 – 14:10 * Afternoon: 14:05 – 22:05 * Night: 22:00 – 6:55 * Friday: * Morning: 6:50 – 14:10 * Afternoon: 14:05 – 22:05 * Night: 22:00 – 6:55 * Saturday: * Morning: 6:50 – 12:15 * Afternoon: \_\_ * Night: — Requirements * Minimum 3 **years’ experience as an Extrusion Operator or in similar industrial processes**. * Experience in **operating extruders, plastic production lines, or industrial machinery**. * Basic knowledge of **industrial processes, mechanics, or electricity**. * Experience working with **process parameters and quality control in production**. * Ability to **lead line assistants and coordinate operational tasks**. * Commitment to **industrial safety and good production practices**. * Availability to **work rotating shifts**.
