Because together we can change our patients’ lives, we seek Nursing Technicians for our UC CHRISTUS Clinical Hospital, under an honorarium arrangement, across the following departments: * **Medical-Surgical** * **Pediatrics, Intermediate Care, and Pediatric ICU** * **Coronary Unit** * **Maternity and Neonatology** * **Adult Medium- and High-Complexity Units** * **Emergency Department** Your role will be to effectively perform and fulfill all clinical activities and processes inherent to your position within your assigned area, ensuring timely, safe, and high-quality service to internal and external clients. **Key Responsibilities:** * Monitor vital signs, assist with feeding, hygiene, and comfort, support therapeutic procedures, and collaborate with other professionals to deliver comprehensive patient and family care. * Record and implement the nursing care plan established by the registered nurse. * Perform and document tasks assigned to your role related to the clinical process of the department (e.g., procedures, supplies, etc.). * Maintain timely communication regarding the patient’s health status with the healthcare team. * Assist in controlling, managing, and replenishing equipment, materials, supplies, and medications within your unit. * Collaborate in patient and family education in a welcoming manner—demonstrating courtesy and providing timely, appropriate responses to their needs. * Perform or assist with other clinical and/or administrative duties assigned flexibly by your supervisor(s). * Support the training of students and newly assigned staff members. * Perform and maintain cleanliness and order in assigned areas. * Carry out your duties while continuously monitoring quality and safety indicators for your department or unit. **Application Requirements:** * Education: Higher-level Technical Degree in Nursing * Required Experience: Completed internships or clinical rotations in the department applied for * Valid registration with the Superintendence of Health (mandatory) * Knowledge: In healthcare settings such as hospitals and medical centers * Availability to work on an honorarium basis **More About Us:** Since 1929, we have been Chile’s Academic Clinical Network, delivering excellence in care while integrating professional education, applied research and innovation, and sustained community engagement.
