Job Summary: We are seeking a Forklift Operator to handle raw materials and supplies in the forestry sector, ensuring safety and efficiency. Key Responsibilities: 1. Perform safe and efficient forklift operations. 2. Provide logistical support for machinery installation and relocation. 3. Conduct pre-operational inspections and operate the equipment within its rated capacities. LL Consulting is looking for a **Forklift Operator** for a major client in the forestry and timber industry located in the commune of **Freire, Araucanía Region**. The primary objective of this position is to safely, efficiently, and systematically carry out material handling operations for raw materials and supplies within the sawmill or remanufacturing plant, while strictly adhering to occupational health and safety regulations at all times. **Main responsibilities include:** * Continuously and systematically feed raw materials into and remove them from timber processing machinery. * Safely handle and transport long materials (timber measuring 3 meters or more). * Perform orderly truck loading and supply drying chambers. * Provide operational logistical support during machinery installation and relocation within the plant. * Conduct pre\-operational inspection of assigned equipment (*checklist*) to ensure optimal technical performance. * Operate the equipment strictly within its maximum load capacity, maneuverability limits, and industrial safety protocols. **Ideal Profile:** * Completed secondary education. * Valid **Class D Driver's License** (mandatory requirement). * Demonstrable work experience of **3 to 4 years** operating forklifts. * Specific and ideally verifiable experience working in sawmills, remanufacturing plants, or the timber industry. * Proven technical skill in transporting long materials (3 meters or more). * Strong safety orientation, responsibility, and equipment care awareness. * Immediate availability to work full-time on-site in Freire under a fixed-term contract.
