Elevator Maintenance Technician – Downtown Santiago
Do you have elevator maintenance experience and are looking for a stable opportunity at a **fixed workplace**?
For a leading company in the vertical transportation industry, we are seeking an **Elevator Maintenance Technician**, who will join as a resident technician at facilities located in the **Republica district, Downtown Santiago**.
We seek a committed, responsible individual with prior elevator experience and a solid technical foundation enabling them to perform maintenance and basic repairs.
### **Main Responsibilities**
* Perform preventive and corrective maintenance on elevators.
* Verify proper equipment operation and carry out basic adjustments.
* Carry out minor repairs and component replacements.
* Support more complex repairs when required.
* Identify and report malfunctions, pending tasks, or spare parts requirements.
* Record interventions using digital platforms and tools.
* Maintain order and proper use of tools, materials, and PPE.
* Strictly comply with established safety procedures and standards.
### **What We Are Looking For**
* **Prior elevator experience, mandatory requirement.**
* Minimum **1 year of elevator maintenance experience**, mandatory.
* Training as a **Medium or Higher-Level Technician** in Electricity, Electromechanics, Electronics, Mechanics, or related field.
* Basic knowledge of electricity, electronics, and/or mechanics applied to elevators.
* Proficiency with tools and measuring instruments such as testers, multimeters, or others.
* Availability to work on-site in Downtown Santiago.
* Responsibility, punctuality, commitment to safety, and ability to work in a team.
### **Conditions**
**Workplace:** Republica district, Downtown Santiago.
**Work Modality:** 100% on-site – resident technician at a fixed location.
**Working Hours:**
* Monday and Tuesday: 08:00–18:00 hrs.
* Wednesday to Friday: 08:00–17:00 hrs.
**Reference Net Salary:** $750\.000 to $850\.000 net approx.
Additionally:
* Semi-annual performance bonus, subject to evaluation, capped at $660\.000 taxable.
* Initial fixed-term contract with potential for indefinite extension based on performance.
