CNC Bending Operator

Job Summary: We are seeking an operator with experience in CNC bending machines to perform tasks including setup, first-piece verification, cycle optimization, and basic preventive maintenance in the CNC section. Key Requirements: 1. Experience with CNC bending machines (Amada, Trumpf, Bystronic or similar). 2. Knowledge of blueprint interpretation, tolerances, and standardized symbols. 3. Ability to perform on-machine programming and/or software-based programming. We are seeking an operator with extensive experience in numerically controlled bending machines to work in Linares. Tasks are carried out in the CNC section, with continuous reporting to the workshop supervisor. Key responsibilities include configuring bending parameters according to the production order, verifying first pieces, and performing in-process quality self-inspection. Additional responsibilities include cycle optimization to minimize rejections, basic preventive maintenance of the machine, handling workshop tools, and blueprint interpretation. Knowledge of programming languages, understanding of standardized symbols, and measurement of part tolerances are required. This is a fixed-term contract, with working hours from Monday to Friday, 07:00 to 15:00. Salary is governed by the Jaén metallurgical and steelworking collective agreement. Proactive individuals with strong planning ability and workplace organization are highly valued. * Demonstrable experience operating CNC bending machines (Amada, Trumpf, Bystronic or similar). * Knowledge of blueprint interpretation, tolerances, and standardized symbols. * Ability to perform on-machine programming and/or associated software-based programming. * Fixture adjustment, tool selection, and dimensional control of parts. * Proficiency with measuring instruments (caliper, vernier caliper, micrometer, gauges, etc.). * Adherence to quality standards and safety regulations.
