At Blue Express, we are looking for our next Operational Efficiency Engineer (SCL – Cross-functional), who will play a key role in strategic analysis, budget forecasting and control for the Distribution area, driving continuous resource optimization and maximizing operational profitability within a dynamic, agile, and innovative culture.
Your primary objective in this role will be to analyze, forecast, and control cross-functional distribution costs, identifying variances and efficiency opportunities to ensure budget compliance, optimize resource utilization, and improve operational profitability.
**Key Responsibilities:**
* Develop and maintain executive reporting on cross-functional distribution costs (in-house, outsourced, and discretionary) to ensure visibility and traceability in decision-making.
* Analyze trends, variations, and budget deviations across different cost centers and operational accounts to identify improvement opportunities.
* Develop monthly and annual cost forecasts based on operational scenarios and volume forecasts, promoting predictive management.
* Conduct ongoing monitoring and control of discretionary costs to mitigate risks, reduce variances, and enhance operational efficiency.
* Support bulk and automated cost loading into departmental platforms, ensuring accurate financial calculations and data integrity.

Requirements
What do we expect from you? ✨
* Bachelor’s degree in Industrial Civil Engineering, Business Administration, Management Control, or a related field.
* Minimum 2 years of general professional experience in cost, finance, or management control areas, and at least 1 year in budget analysis and control.
* Advanced proficiency in MS Office (Excel, Power Query, Power Pivot).
* Intermediate SQL skills and experience with data visualization tools (Power BI, Looker Studio, or similar).
* Solid knowledge of financial analysis, budget management, and forecasting.
* Prior experience in logistics, services, or statistics is desirable.
