We are looking for a Senior Statistical Auditor to join our Audit team, with the following responsibilities: * Design and execute data-driven audits, applying statistical techniques and quantitative methodologies to identify risks and deviations. * Evaluate internal risk models, statistical models, Machine Learning, and Generative AI initiatives used across various bank departments. * Assess the quality, integrity, and consistency of data used in critical business processes. * Automate continuous audit testing and control monitoring using analytical tools and programming. * Identify opportunities to improve audit processes through the use of emerging technologies and advanced methodologies. * Document analyses, methodologies, and audit results in accordance with internal and regulatory standards. * Develop dashboards and executive reports for visualizing risks, trends, and key findings. * Collaborate with Audit, Risk, Technology, Compliance, and Data teams to strengthen the organization’s control environment. **Candidate Requirements** -------------------------- * Degree in Statistics Engineering, Mathematics, Civil Mathematics Engineering, Industrial Civil Engineering, or related field. * Postgraduate studies or specialization in Statistics, Data Science, or Advanced Analytics preferred. * Minimum 4 years of experience in statistical auditing, model validation, or data science. * Minimum 4 years of experience in banking, financial retail, or insurance. * Experience developing statistical models and analyzing large volumes of data is desirable. * Advanced programming proficiency in SQL and/or BigQuery. (Mandatory) * Advanced proficiency in Python and/or R software. (Mandatory) * Application of Artificial Intelligence to the role. * Knowledge of classical statistics and ML (Generative AI, machine learning models). * Understanding of banking regulations, financial products and services, and risk management.
