Today, BNP Paribas Cardif seeks an IT Project Manager who will facilitate and manage relationships among vendors, the IT department, and business units, ensuring proper execution of new projects, technology developments, and maintenance activities. This role is responsible for ensuring business requirements are translated into effective solutions while optimizing timelines, costs, and quality of deliverables. Job Functions What are the main challenges of this position? Manage the portfolio of maintenance and new development projects. Coordinate and facilitate internal management across various teams including IT, QA, infrastructure, and business units. Meet with sponsors and requesting departments to clarify requirements and ensure alignment with business needs. Ensure adherence to defined budgets, effort estimates, and deadlines for each project or enhancement. Proactively identify, escalate, and resolve impediments clearly, promptly, and proactively to supervisors or management. Maintain consistent and transparent communication regarding project progress, risks, and outcomes. Adopt a technical stance when engaging with users, effectively mediating between technical and functional teams. Supervise and guide a subordinate analyst, promoting their professional development and goal achievement. Utilize management tools such as ServiceNow, Power BI, and advanced Microsoft Office for tracking and analysis. Qualifications and Requirements How do you know if you’re a match for this vacancy? We are looking for someone who: Requirements: Bachelor’s degree in Computer Engineering, Programming, Information Systems Engineering, or a related field. Minimum 3 years of experience in functional analysis or IT project management, preferably within financial or insurance sectors, including participation in functional requirements gathering and specification, project management, and agile methodologies. Desirable Skills Goal- and service-oriented mindset Proactivity: Ability to anticipate risks and propose timely solutions. Languages and frameworks: Java, Angular, SFTP, DataStage. Version control: Bitbucket, GitLab. Databases: SQL Server, MySQL, PostgreSQL, Oracle. Containers: OpenShift. Agile tools: Jira, Confluence. Platforms and management tools: ServiceNow, Power BI, advanced Microsoft Office. Methodologies: Scrum / Agile / IT Project Management. English proficiency: Intermediate (preferred). Requirements analysis and solution design. Teamwork and collaboration. Adaptability to emerging technologies. Continuous learning and ongoing improvement.
