Finning, Caterpillar’s strategic partner and leader in equipment distribution and services, is searching for top talent to fill the **Technician B** role. **Job Description Summary:** You will be responsible for diagnosing major components and systems, performing large-scale repairs, coordinating work execution, working either in the workshop or in the field as required, assisting the supervisor, making decisions of moderate responsibility, and supervising component installation and removal. **Primary Job Responsibilities:** * Order spare parts. * Analyze written materials such as service manuals, parts catalogs, and mechanical and maintenance forms for equipment maintenance/repair. * Use and operate electronic tools. * Prepare Service Reports. * Demonstrate fault analysis capability. * Conduct tests and diagnostics for AT1 and AT2 machine issues. * Remove and install any type of component, or direct their removal or installation. * Operate and inspect machines after repair. * Perform critical adjustments to the machine and system, and make repair recommendations. * Install new components and additional accessories. * Carry out activities following quality management instructions and actively participate in area-specific actions to comply with the Risk Prevention and Sustainable Management Policy. **Requirements:** * Graduate technician from an institute or university, specializing in automotive mechanics, electronics, or electricity. * Minimum 4\-5 years’ experience in mining equipment maintenance. * Must have successfully performed at least the duties of Mechanic A. * Must be able to work on a 7x7 shift schedule at Gabriela Mistral. * Must possess health compatible with performance at high geographical altitude.
