Job Summary: Responsible for procuring goods and services, supervising receipt, storage, and dispatch of inventory, and managing warehouses to ensure operational continuity. Key Highlights: 1. End-to-end procurement and logistics management for company operations. 2. Supplier development and monitoring to ensure quality and optimal costs. 3. Inventory and warehouse administration and control. **OBJECTIVES** * Procure required goods and services for various departments in a timely manner, ensuring compliance with specifications, quality standards, and minimum feasible cost. * Supervise all activities related to receipt, storage, custody of physical inventory, preparation, and dispatch of internal material orders, packaging, raw materials, and other goods essential for normal company and plant operations. * Responsible for the Packaging Warehouse at San Bernardo and Calera de Tango plants. **FUNCTIONS** * Establish a formal procurement requisition process across all company departments, specifying product requirements, quantities, suggested suppliers, delivery timelines, and response deadlines — duly authorized by an executive empowered to approve such requests. This applies to all procurement activities. * Obtain market quotations complying with defined specifications and securing at least three quotations within established timelines and available safety stock levels. * Monitor the entire logistics process until goods reach their destination, ensuring proper tax documentation accompanies shipments and that delivered items meet agreed-upon quantity, quality, price, technical specifications, etc. * Collaborate with the relevant department head to select the most suitable option, negotiate optimal combinations of price, delivery schedule, and dispatch terms, finalize purchase agreements, and issue Purchase Orders. * Ensure no inventory stockouts occur for any product by executing procurement processes in a timely manner to achieve this objective. * Collaborate with the Logistics Manager and Area Managers to develop alternative suppliers and products offering cost, performance, or quality advantages that add value. * Work closely with the Quality Assurance Manager to guarantee purchased products comply fully with Chilean legislation and with food safety standards adopted by the company. * Play a key role in designing and monitoring procurement-related processes (PO–Delivery Note–Invoice–Payment), artwork development, approvals, etc. * Consistently deliver high-quality service to internal and external users requiring support within the unit’s scope of responsibility. * Procure all necessary packaging, containers, goods, and services essential for smooth operations and plant functionality. * Monitor and track procurement and supplier invoicing, ensuring full accounting closure of all purchase processes. * Define critical, minimum, and maximum stock levels for products stored in logistics-dependent warehouses, maintaining sufficient inventory to meet departmental requirements promptly. * Design, implement, and maintain an up-to-date supplier database featuring multiple proven options for all standard products (both current and alternative). * Prepare logistics management reports on materials and supplies falling under the unit’s responsibility. * Administer, supervise, control, execute, and record incoming physical goods into warehouses as well as outgoing supplies according to requisitions. * Conduct monthly physical inventories of warehouses under direct responsibility. * Strictly comply with warehouse safety regulations, material handling procedures, facility management protocols, and access controls. * Maintain monthly reporting on: Packaging Purchase Price, Supplies, and Raw Materials — immediately notifying direct supervisors and the Logistics Committee of any price variations. * Actively participate in implementing continuous improvement initiatives, including operational, systemic, information-sharing, and any other area-relevant processes. * Execute assigned tasks to comply with cleaning and allergen control procedures applicable to the role. * Execute assigned tasks to comply with current procedures related to food safety, authenticity, legality, and all other aspects pertinent to the position. * Execute assigned tasks to comply with Good Manufacturing Practices (GMP). * Report unidentified visitors and any unusual activity. **Tools** * Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, PowerPoint). * ERP system proficiency. * Basic accounting knowledge. * Familiarity with GFSI (Global Food Safety Initiative) standards. **Experience:** Minimum 3 years **Education:** Bachelor’s degree in Engineering or related field. **Net Salary:** $1\.300\.000\-$1\.500\.000 Salary: $1\.300\.000 \- $1\.500\.000 per month Workplace: On-site employment
