This contributes to maximizing asset performance and operational excellence, ensuring business continuity and compliance with quality, personnel safety, facility safety, and adherence to Division- and Corporation-wide policies, standards, and procedures related to safety, occupational health, environment, and diversity and inclusion. **Because here your talent will serve Chile!** **Main Responsibilities:** * Monitor and operate production equipment, inspecting and verifying in the field the operational conditions of equipment, production processes, instruments, and process plant installations to which the candidate is assigned. * Operate support-to-production processes in the field related to water and tailings, verifying the status of these variables and executing necessary actions to maintain normal operating conditions. * Verify that third-party support-to-production services comply with entry procedures for controlled or restricted access areas, safeguarding operational continuity and facility integrity under the safety standards defined by the Division. * Report aspects related to consumption of inputs, supplies, and services within the candidate’s area, identifying and requesting corrective maintenance as needed. * Timely register, consolidate, and report shift-related updates, plant process operations, and standards at the assigned plant locations. * Detect failures in plant and maintenance equipment, shutting them down in case of emergencies or operational needs that could cause damage, and promptly informing the supervisor. **Application Requirements:** * Graduate of a Medium or Higher Technical Program in any of the following fields: Metallurgy, Mineral Processing, Chemistry, Mechanical Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Electronics, Industrial Control and Automation, or a closely related discipline. * Minimum two years of experience in industrial plant operations. * Valid Class B driver’s license. * Health condition compatible with the position. **Offered Conditions:** * Contract Type: Temporary. * Contractual Position: Qualified Plant Operator. * Work Location: Andina Division. * Work Schedule: 4x4 day and night shifts. * Number of Vacancies: 04. **Application Deadline: Monday, 13 July 2026** Application Closing Time: 23:59 hrs. “I hereby declare that I am aware of the conditions, per Codelco regulations, that may constitute an incompatibility for holding the position for which I am applying and, consequently, affect my continuation in the selection process.
