The role is responsible for ensuring that the PLN manufacturing process operates within established physico\-chemical parameters and for leading initiatives that positively impact Quality, Performance, and Productivity. What You’ll Do: Develop and promote research to improve quality, performance, and/or productivity. Maintain bidirectional information flow with shift process engineers. Lead root cause analyses for deviations explaining non-compliance with: consumption factors, yields, recoveries, and/or quality. Coordinate and manage implementation of improvements with production supervisors. Study, review, and lead process improvements per the Management of Change (MOC) system. What You Bring: Mandatory: Chemical Engineer or related discipline. Operational proficiency in SAP, Office, Power BI, PI System, and productive chemical process simulation software. Knowledge of unit operations and separation processes; root cause analysis methodologies (Ishikawa, 5 Whys, Taproot, Causelink, etc.); and Process Safety methodology: change management, PHA (HAZOP, What If?). Class B driver’s license. 5–10 years of specific experience in this role and at least 3 years of experience in chemical plants, preferably in production or process areas.
