" **Purpose:** Leads and oversees the Corporate / Factoring and Confirming commercial segments in Chile, ensuring that business strategies, plans, and initiatives are implemented or fulfilled in accordance with current internal rules, policies, and procedures. **Responsibilities:** * Lead and drive a customer-focused culture across the entire team under supervision, aiming to strengthen client relationships and leverage the Bank’s relationships, systems, and knowledge broadly. * Lead commercial system management. This includes holding periodic meetings with line commercial managers from both segments, presenting commercial results and forecasts during Business Pipeline meetings, accompanying scheduled visits with Relationship Managers (RMs) and respective managers, and maintaining a personal agenda alongside the direct team. * Develop quarterly commercial strategies and/or tactical action plans. In general, all types of commercial activities designed to identify business opportunities aligned with the Bank’s general and specific policies, as well as those of regulatory bodies. * Maintain close contact with internal clients (Bank executives) and external clients. Monitor and manage the portfolio to achieve individual goals and those of the Factoring Management, thereby contributing to the Bank’s overall profitability. * Understand how the Bank’s risk appetite and risk culture must be considered in daily activities and decisions. * Create an environment where the team performs effective and efficient operations within their respective areas, in line with Scotiabank’s values, Code of Conduct, and Global Sales Principles, while also ensuring suitability, compliance, and effectiveness of daily business controls to meet obligations related to operational risk, regulatory non-compliance risk, money laundering and terrorist financing risk, and conduct risk. * Promote a high-performance environment and implement a workforce strategy that attracts, retains, develops, and motivates the team by fostering an inclusive workplace and applying a coaching mindset and behaviors; communicate the vision, values, and business strategy, and manage succession and development plans for the team. **Requirements:** Mandatory: * Degree in Commercial Engineering or a related field including Business Administration and Accounting knowledge. * Minimum 5 years of experience and expertise in the factoring product and industry. * Proficiency in Microsoft Office tools. Desirable: * Experience leading commercial teams. * Intermediate-level English language proficiency.
