Diverse outdoor projects and hands-on work Gardening Assistant Location: Santiago Metropolitan Region, Santiago Employment Type: Full-time Job Summary: We are seeking a Gardening Assistant to support gardening projects, garden maintenance, green area care, and exterior improvements. This is a hands-on opportunity for individuals who enjoy working outdoors and wish to gain experience in gardening, property maintenance, and green space management. The selected candidate will work alongside the team to maintain attractive, clean, and well-organized outdoor spaces while learning various gardening and maintenance tasks. Responsibilities: Assist with general garden and green area maintenance. Prepare soil, planting areas, and flowerbeds. Assist with planting, watering, pruning, and basic plant care. Maintain lawns, pathways, green areas, and outdoor spaces. Assist with weeding, trimming, leaf collection, and garden waste removal. Collaborate on basic garden installation and improvement projects. Load, unload, move, and organize gardening materials as needed. Safely use basic gardening and landscaping tools. Keep tools, equipment, and work areas clean and organized. Support seasonal garden and green area maintenance activities. Follow daily work schedules and instructions. Report maintenance issues or equipment malfunctions. Work as part of a team to complete projects efficiently. Contribute to maintaining a clean and safe work environment. Requirements: Prior experience in gardening, landscaping, green area maintenance, or outdoor work is preferred. Comfort working outdoors and performing hands-on tasks. Willingness to learn about gardening and garden maintenance techniques. Ability to follow instructions and complete routine tasks. Reliable, organized, and team-oriented.
