**Job Objective**

Ensure the reliability and accuracy of raw material and finished product analyses through implementation and validation of analytical methods, quality control in accordance with established standards, and compliance with applicable regulations, thereby guaranteeing continuous improvement of laboratory processes.
**Main Responsibilities**
---------------------------------
* Plan, organize, integrate, direct, and control laboratory activities and policies to ensure achievement of departmental objectives.
* Lead laboratory management, keeping Management informed of the department’s status, results, and future requirements.
* Plan and supervise physicochemical and microbiological analyses of raw materials, finished products, complaints, environmental controls, surface swabs, and personnel handling samples—ensuring timely delivery of results and communication of deviations to Quality and Production departments.
* Define laboratory objectives and key performance indicators, promoting continuous process improvement.
* Review, analyze, and maintain the laboratory results database up to date.
* Manage the departmental budget and control associated expenses.
* Manage procurement and availability of supplies and materials required for laboratory operations.
* Supervise achievement of departmental objectives and coordinate preventive maintenance, equipment calibrations, and verifications, ensuring metrological traceability of results.
* Ensure compliance with applicable quality, food safety, occupational health and safety, and legal requirements.
**Requirements**

**Education**
* Professional degree in **Chemical Engineering** or related field.
**Technical Knowledge**
* Implementation and management of **ISO/IEC 17025**.
* Implementation and validation of analytical techniques.
* Proficiency in laboratory equipment, including **NIR** technology.
* Experience with **LIMS** systems (Labinfy preferred).
* Proficiency in wet chemical and instrumental analytical equipment, such as:
* Soxhlet
* Kjeldahl
* Muffle furnace
* HPLC
* Chromatograph
* Advanced or expert-level Excel.
* Data analysis and interpretation.
* SAP proficiency.
