A vital component of the supply chain The Truck Driver / Warehouse Assistant role is a dual-position requiring both driving and warehouse management skills. The incumbent will be responsible for safely and efficiently transporting goods, as well as assisting in organizing and maintaining our warehouse. The ideal candidate must be able to operate company vehicles, maintain accurate inventory records, and participate in product loading and unloading operations. General Mission / Objective of the Position: The primary objective of the Truck Driver / Warehouse Assistant position is to ensure that our company’s products reach their destinations safely and efficiently, and to help maintain an organized and functional warehouse. The individual in this role is a vital component of our company’s supply chain, helping sustain the flow of goods and ensuring our warehouse operations are conducted effectively. Responsibilities and Tasks: 1. Drive company vehicles to transport goods to various locations. 2. Maintain accurate delivery records and collect recipient signatures. 3. Perform product loading and unloading. 4. Manage warehouse inventory and track products. 5. Assist in warehouse organization and cleaning. 6. Conduct routine vehicle inspections and ensure maintenance. 7. Comply with all traffic laws and regulations. 8. Collaborate with other team members to improve company operations. 9. Immediately report any issues or discrepancies to immediate supervisors. 10. Deliver excellent customer service during deliveries. REQUIREMENTS: - Education: Minimum requirement is completion of secondary education. Training in logistics, warehousing, or related fields is preferred. - Knowledge and Skills: A valid driver’s license is mandatory, along with knowledge of traffic regulations. Skills required include cargo loading/unloading, warehouse organization and maintenance. Basic automotive mechanical knowledge and ability to use hand and power tools are required. - Experience: Minimum of 2 years of experience in similar roles, preferably within logistics or transportation companies. - Competencies: We seek a responsible individual with strong organizational ability, attention to detail, and teamwork skills. The candidate must be able to follow instructions and procedures precisely and work effectively under pressure. - Special Requirements: Physical capability to lift heavy loads. Possession of road safety or hazardous materials handling certifications is a plus.
