We consider inclusion and diversity as fundamental elements for meeting present and future challenges.*** **ARAUCO seeks a Teacher to join the ARAUCO Educational Foundation in the Los Ríos Region, based in the city of Valdivia.** **Main Purpose of the Position** Actively contribute to implementing the ARAUCO Educational Foundation’s territorial plan, strengthening the development of educational communities and ensuring the quality of formative and operational activities across its various lines of action. This position plays a key role in designing, executing, and supporting formative processes, promoting high-impact educational practices and reinforcing ties with educational institutions and relevant local stakeholders. **Key Responsibilities** * Design, adapt, and implement professional development activities targeting teachers and educational communities, ensuring relevance and technical quality. * Deliver teaching and mentoring support in educational programs and initiatives, aligned with the Foundation’s pedagogical model. * Develop collaborative relationships with educational institutions, teachers, and other relevant local stakeholders, strengthening joint work and understanding of local needs. * Coordinate logistical and operational aspects of territorial initiatives, ensuring effective and timely implementation. * Develop pedagogical resources, reports, presentations, and other materials supporting formative program development. * Participate in institutional reflection and improvement spaces, contributing knowledge, experience, and new perspectives to strengthen the Foundation’s impact. * Maintain continuous professional updating on educational topics, contributing innovative proposals to reinforce territorial lines of action. **Requirements** **Education:** Licensed Teacher in General Basic Education, Special Education, Early Childhood Education, or Educational Psychologist. **Experience:** Minimum of 5 years’ experience in the educational field. **Knowledge:** * Pedagogical mastery and curriculum expertise. * Familiarity with Chile’s Public Education System and school improvement processes. * Training grounded in models of pedagogical practice, educational management, and leadership. * Curriculum innovation and teacher professional development. * Experience in adult education. * Proficiency in Microsoft Office tools and artificial intelligence applied to professional work. * Postgraduate diplomas and/or advanced studies related to the educational field are desirable. * English proficiency is desirable. **Other Requirements:** * Availability to conduct fieldwork within the region at least twice per week. * Availability to work in Valdivia. **What Competencies Are We Seeking?** We seek professionals committed to education and community development, capable of building trust-based relationships, communicating ideas effectively, and collaborating with diverse actors across the educational system.
